As both Product Owner and Project Manager for a major electric utility provider, I led the complete modernization of their external website and internal operations platform. Managing a team of 19 technical professionals and coordinating with 13 stakeholder groups, I reduced content update time by 70% and streamlined critical operational processes by 35%.

A major electric utility provider faced significant challenges with its aging digital infrastructure:

  • External Website: Content-heavy platform with poor navigation for users and a complex, time-consuming update process that required IT involvement for content changes

  • Vendor Selection: Led a comprehensive evaluation process of cloud CMS platforms, creating an objective assessment rubric that resulted in selecting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

  • Content Audit: Created a comprehensive site map capturing all existing content, user journeys, and navigation paths
